This time of year, I spend a lot of time at my son’s baseball games. A few weeks ago, we were out in central Massachusetts for the first game of the season. As storm clouds cleared out, we were treated to an absolute stunner of a sunset! A few of the boys even ran to the edge of the field to take it in.
These new seascape paintings are inspired by the colors of that sunset, and by the energy of that first game of the season. And my son kindly provided the baseball-themed titles for the paintings in this series!
There are eight new paintings in this series: a 20"x20" on gallery wrapped linen canvas, a 12"x12" on linen panel, four 7"x5"s on linen panel, and two tiny 4"x6"s on Arches paper. I carefully chose the surfaces of these paintings to work well with the textures I knew I wanted to create. I think the texture of the linen is especially lovely for this series.
I have framing options available for all paintings in this series except for the two 4"x6" works on paper (those are great for DIY framing!).
(*Please note that some of these are still drying - 7"x5"s will ship after May 6, and the rest of the pieces will ship after May 14. Ship dates are also noted on the individual listings.)
Thanks so much for supporting my art!
