I painted this piece for Week 7 in my 52 Weeks of Finding Light Series. This painting is a small landscape with mostly brown grasses, trees, and brush, but there are bits where the grass is starting to green up, indicating early spring. Sunlight is just starting to pour over the tree line and up into the sky. Created from imagination in my studio. Inspired by watching sunrises and sunsets during the in-between seasons.

Painted on 5″x5″ Ampersand Cradled Gessobord.

Framed in beautiful unfinished maple frame.

Frame measurements are approximately 6”x6”x2.

Arrives framed and ready to hang, but can also be happily placed on a shelf.
